Climate
Hemu Gûmà has a yearly average temperature of 16°C (60°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 5°C (41°F). Hemu Gûmà receives an average of 77 cm/y (30 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Hemu Gûmà covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 4458 m (14625 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Hemu Gûmà was founded durring the early 14th century in summer of the year 1307, by Zêlel Zêyêrtco. The establishment of Hemu Gûmà was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Zêlel Zêyêrtco electing to pay people to resettle in Hemu Gûmà.
Hemu Gûmà was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Hemu Gûmà is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Hemu Gûmà is buildings are arranged arround a network of spacious baked earthen streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. The town's would-be-castle fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.
Something in your gut tells you that you may be unwelcome in Hemu Gûmà. The town seems like it’s not showing you the side of itself it would show to others. People mostly ignore your questions. Many folks ask you to leave their establishments, even before you’ve walked inside them. You should probably listen to them, as every time you’re asked to leave the person asking you to leave has referenced the town’s patron divine in some way. The little voice in the back of your mind that tells you when you’re in danger feels like it’s just glaring at you and muttering about how stupid you are for even remaining in town.

Hemu Gûmà possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Small Town. Hemu Gûmà's grid is powered by a direct leyline tap.

Cultural Notes
Hemu Gûmà's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .
